Police have arrested three people following an armed robbery at a petrol station in Pimlico.
Around 8.45am, police allege a man entered a petrol station on Palmerston Street armed with a handgun and demanded money before fleeing in a waiting vehicle with cash.
An hour later police intercepted the vehicle on Kings Road, Pimlico and arrested three men.

One of the men was allegedly in possession of the handgun, which police identified as a gel blaster.
No one was physically injured during the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
