A Proposal to Remember
Chris Martin was all heart during Coldplay’s Wembley Stadium show on August 22. In the middle of the concert, the frontman spotted a man on the Jumbotron holding a sign that read, “I want to propose,” with an arrow pointing to the woman in front of him.
Naturally, Martin jumped in to help, but not without a little humor first.

A Quick “Security Check”
Before giving the go-ahead, Martin playfully grilled the couple:
“Is this your partner? No one else’s? Are you cousins or siblings? Are you AI? Are you real?”
After the couple confirmed they were indeed legit, Martin told the man to get down on one knee, to which he did, prompting a beaming “yes” and a celebratory kiss.

Martin congratulated the couple with his signature flair:
“What a beautiful girl. What a wonderful guy. On a day like this, I encourage you to kiss. I hope you’re happy until the day that you die.”
