Ever just read a headline and it instantly makes your day better?
In Changchun, China, seven dogs went missing and were theorised to have been stolen from their homes. The group of seven dogs consisted of a Golden Retriever, a Labrador, a German Shepherd, a Pekinese and of course their leader Big Fatty the Corgi. Whilst it’s still not been fully revealed whether these dogs were indeed stolen or they’ve all run away together, what has been confirmed is that these seven dogs banded together to protect one another and make the 17-kilometre journey home, led of course by Big Fatty the Corgi.
A video has gone viral online of what is clearly footage of the seven dogs on their adventure back home. The video depicts the seven dogs moving as a unit on a busy highway in China, led by our brave goodest boy Big Fatty the corgi.
The seven dogs all made it home to their village after being missing for roughly four days. Why they suddenly went missing is still unknown, but it hasn’t stopped many people from theorising. Big Fatty’s owner spent four days looking for them, with many locals saying it was likely the dogs were stolen to be resold, or stolen to have their meat sold, as dog meat is still a delicacy in many parts of China.
To be honest, I don’t really care the reason why they were stolen, all I care about right now is that Big Fatty gets many treats and all the pats for being my new hero. What a heckin’ good boy.
Also, someone get Pixar on the phone right now, I need to see Big Fatty’s name in lights!
