Qld man to be charged over bike road rage

A Queensland driver will be charged after allegedly shooting bullets into a cyclist's home after a road rage incident.

Police say the pair got into an argument after a traffic incident in the Rockhampton suburb of Norman Gardens on Friday evening.

The 31-year-old male driver left the scene but returned with a gun which he used to shoot twice at the cyclist's house.

He returned to the area twice more and fired his gun at the home another three times.

The 40-year-old cyclist wasn't injured in the attack.

Police said the driver is in custody and will be charged with weapons offences later on Saturday afternoon.
