A person has been hospitalised after a house fire at Annandale.

Four fire and rescue crews were called to Miranda Circuit at 1.30pm yesterday, where they found the home well involved.

They contained the fire to the garage before bringing under control just after 2pm.

Paramedics have taken a stable patient to Townsville Hospital with smoke inhalation.
