A woman accused of stabbing a man at Mundingburra will face court today.

Around 9.20pm Tuesday, police and paramedics were called to a Camp Street address, following reports a man had been stabbed in the knee.

The 50-year-old man has been taken to Townsville Hospital for treatment.

A 49-year-old woman has been arrested and charged with with one count of wounding (domestic violence).

She is due to appear in Townsville Magistrates Court today.
