Flood Warning For Don River

Final Flood Warning for the Don River issued at 9:29 AM EST on Thursday 27 February 2020

Minor flooding on the Don River at Bowen Pump Station peaked at 3.45 metres during early Thursday morning, and has fallen just below the minor flood level (2.50 metres) later in the morning.

No significant rainfall totals have been recorded since 9:00 AM Wednesday. Showers and thunderstorms are forecast for the next few days, with no further widespread heavy falls expected for this event.

Don River:
River levels have fallen below the minor flood level along the Don River.

The Don River at Bowen Pump Station is currently at 2.45 metres and falling.

River levels on the Don River at Bowen Pump Station will remain below the minor flood level (2.50 m) for this event.

River levels are rising on the Don River in response to rainfall overnight last night and minor flooding is possible.

Continued showers and storms are possible throughout the day, which could lead to further river level rises.

The Don River at Bowen Pump Station is currently at 1.40 metres (below minor) and falling.

The river level at Bowen Pump Station may reach the minor flood level (2.50 m) during Tuesday in response to further shower and storm activity.
