It has been revealed Queensland Police have been called to a staggering 100 thousand domestic violence cases across the state in the last year.

News Corp reporting call-outs soared by seven-and-a-half per-cent.

It comes in the wake of the murder of Hannah Clarke and her three young children, whose estranged husband set her car alight at Camp Hill in Brisbane on Wednesday.

The Red Rose Foundation has organised a rally to be held in Brisbane on Friday afternoon, to take a stand against domestic violence.

The foundation is also holding a memorial in Townsville on Friday for the death of a Queensland woman and a four month old baby boy.
