Policewoman Allowed To Return To Work
A Policewoman working in the Northern Region, which takes in Townsville, has been given permission to return to work after earlier being stood down.
The 33-year-old Constable has returned to official duty with the Queensland Police Service after being stood down since August 28.
She was the subject of an investigation regarding driving with a blood alcohol concentration over the general alcohol limit but under the mid-range driving limit.
Relevant court proceedings have now been finalised and the officer remains subject to internal disciplinary proceedings.
