Bushland Beach Fire Declared A Crime Scene

UPDATE | A large Bushland Beach shed has been badly damaged by fire.  

Crews brought the blaze under control and were mopping up by 1:22PM.  

There is significant damage to a shed, cars and boats.  The heat of the blaze caused the windows of neighbouring homes to blow out of their fittings and shatter.  

Members of the State Emergency Service put tarps over the roof to protect the property after it was declared a Crime Scene by the Queensland Police Service.  

Scenes of Crime investigators combed through the wreckage from 2:40PM on Tuesday.  

They are expected to return on Wednesday.  

EARLIER | Firefighters have been called to a house fire at Bushland Beach on Tuesday.  

The blaze broke out on Seabrook Circuit at around 12:30PM.  

It is believed that a home and car are on fire 

Two teams of firefighters are currently trying to bring the blaze under control.  

There are no reports of injuries.
