A woman has been dragged from her wheelchair and mauled by two dogs on Palm Island.
The 52-year-old amputee lost her ear in the horrific attack near her home on Sailor Street around 11.10pm on Monday.
Police say she was bitten multiple times on the neck, face, ear and arms.

She has been flown to Townsville University Hospital in a serious but stable condition where she is undergoing surgery.
Palm Island police attended but were unable to find the dogs responsible.
