Two pedestrians have been killed by cars on North Queensland roads within 24 hours.
A 30-year-old man was hit by a vehicle along Moore Crescent in Mount Isa.
He sustained significant injuries and died at the scene.

Then around 9.40pm Saturday, a 30-year-old woman was killed after a car hit her at Millchester near Charters Towers.
It happened along Bluff Road, with police saying the woman had been sitting on the road.
The Forensic Crash Unit are investigating both incidents.
It comes after a 34-year-old man was struck by a vehicle in Kelso last week and later died in hospital.
