Australia is preparing for what’s expected to be the nation’s largest pro-Palestine demonstrations this Sunday, with rallies planned in 21 locations across the country.
Protests will be held in every capital city as well as regional centres including Townsville.
It marks the first time major union federations have formally backed Palestine rallies with organisers saying they’re calling for an end to Australia’s arms trade with Israel.

In Townsville, the march begins on The Strand at 9am Sunday.
