Townsville is set to host a massive night of country music this November, with American superstar Jelly Roll confirmed to headline the Sunburnt Country Festival at Queensland Country Bank Stadium.

This marks Jelly Roll’s first-ever Australian tour, and Townsville will be the final stop on the Down Under 2025 Tour. Fans can also catch special guests Shaboozey, Busby Marou, and Drew Baldridge for one night only on Thursday, November 6.

The Grammy-nominated, platinum-certified singer-songwriter will perform hits from his latest album Beautifully Broken, including chart-toppers Liar and I Am Not Okay.

Townsville Acting Mayor Ann-Maree Greaney says we’re seeing acts of this calibre increasingly add Townsville to their tours.

“We know our community has been calling for Jelly Roll to add Townsville to his tour, so it’s a
real feather in our hat that we’ve been able to secure such a desired line up of artists, including
Shaboozey, Busby Marou and Drew Baldridge,” she says.

“When we advocated for this stadium, our vision was for it to bring the city to life — and that
vision is being realised. From footy matches to international music sensations, Queensland
Country Bank Stadium is delivering real economic outcomes and unforgettable experiences for
our region,” says Townsville Enterprise CEO, Claudia Brumme-Smith.

Presale tickets kick off today at 2pm, with general public sales starting Tuesday, September 2 at 3pm via Ticketmaster.
