Four hospitalised following separate crashes in Townsville

There has been two car crashes on local roads, leaving four people in hospital.

Paramedics assessed seven people at the scene of a crash at the corner of Alfred Street and Elizabeth Street in Aitkenvale around 6pm Sunday.

Two patients have since been taken to Townsville University Hospital in stable conditions.

Then just before 6.05pm, two more people were injured in a two-vehicle crash at Condon.

Both stable patients have also been taken to Townsville University Hospital, following the collision on Riverway Drive and High Range Drive.
