Police calling for witnesses after car flips and driver flees

Police are appealing for any witnesses following a crash in Aitkenvale last Wednesday.

Officers alleged just before 4:30pm on Nathan Street, a Toyota Hilux was being driven dangerously when it hit the curb and flipped on its side. The female driver got out, and hopped into an Audi that was following behind, before fleeing the scene.

The vehicle wasn’t reported as stolen, and police investigations are underway. Investigators are appealing for anyone with relevant information, CCTV or dashcam footage to contact police.
