Emergency services have been called to Pallarenda after reports of a marine sting.
It happened around 11.30 yesterday morning (September 25).
According to a Queensland Ambulance Service spokesperson a girl was stung on the foot.

She’s since been taken stable to Townsville University Hospital for treatment.
