An alleged rapist is facing further sexual assault charges in Townsville.
The 66-year-old Castle Hill man is accused of committing offences against five women who knew him and who all had connections to a North Ward unit complex.
Four victims initially made complaints regarding alleged incidents between October 2016 and March 2023.
The new rape and two sexual assault charges relate to two of the four original female victims and one sexual assault charge relates to a new female victim.
Police will allege these offences occurred between June 2019 and November 2022.
The man has now been charged with a total of 17 counts of sexual assault, two counts of rape and five counts of enter dwelling.
He is due to reappear in the Townsville Magistrates Court on December 5.
