Police are investigating a fatal single‑vehicle crash at Condon, after an 83‑year‑old Kelso woman died in hospital from her injuries this week.
Emergency services were called to North Beck Drive around 3pm on Saturday, after the woman’s silver Toyota RAV4 left the road near the Ring Road on‑ramp and travelled up an embankment before coming to a stop.
She was taken to Townsville University Hospital in a serious condition but passed away this week as a result of her injuries.
The Forensic Crash Unit is now examining the circumstances surrounding the crash and is appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident — or who has CCTV or dashcam footage from the area — to come forward and assist investigators.
