Cowboys make a comeback in weekend wins

The Cowboys have wrapped up Round 25 of the NRL with a thrilling 34–28 comeback victory over the Wests Tigers at Leichhardt Oval.

North Queensland trailed 28–16 but stormed home with three unanswered tries in the final 15 minutes to seal the win last night.

In the NRLW, the Cowboys also claimed back-to-back victories, smashing the Tigers 30–8.

The result lifts the women’s side to third on the ladder with just three games left in the regular season, keeping finals hopes alive.
