Police man hunt for 30-year-old convicted criminal

Police are hunting for 30-year-old Kayla Maxfield, missing from Townsville and wanted over fresh alleged offences.

Newscorp reports the woman was jailed in 2022 for her role in a ‘gangland-style shooting’ and a stolen car arson in Kirwan. She’s believed to have fled Queensland and may be in New South Wales or Victoria.

Police have released an image of her and say she’s Caucasian, 165 centimeters tall, with dark brown hair and a full tattoo sleeve on her left arm.

Anyone who sees Kayla is urged not to approach her but to call Triple Zero (000) immediately and anyone with information into Kayla’s whereabouts is urged to contact police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
